This trek is designed to watch all the primate species (Langoor, Rhesus and Assamise Monkey in Shivapuri and Langtang National Park). Besides Primates there is ample opportunity to watch mountain wild life including Leopard, Deer, Mountain Goat, Ghoral, Serow and Himalayan Pheasants. |

Shivapuri : Sipucho Summit (2730m), Himalayan oak (Quercus semecarpifolia) forest, unique three-colored Rhododendron arboreum, Holly tree, wild Himalayan cherries (in blossom during autumn), Himalayan Yew (Taxus wallichiana) and Michelia doltsopa. Shrubs like Pieris formosa, Old man’s beard (Clematis montana), and herb like giant lily (Cardiocrinum giganteum), Alder woods, Schima-Castanopsis forest, Common orchids include Coelogyne.
Leopard, barking deer, wild boar, himalayan black bear, yellow-throated marten, flying-squirrel. Bird includes kalij pheasant, common hill partridge, booted eagle, black eagle, steppe eagle, crested serpent eagle, laughing thrushes, sunbirds, tits etc. It is an excellent place to watch forktails, redstarts, kingfisher, blackbirds etc.
